Personal and Corporate Acknowledgements


While any amount will be appreciated, a donation from $500 to $850 will be acknowledged on an individual member's Privateye mobile phone. Your personal or corporate name will appear on the mobile phone's display screen. (See illustration)

A contribution of $500 will cover 75% of the estimated cost of converting a conventional mobile phone into a navigation device for the visually impaired.

How your donation will be spent


A contribution of $500 will cover 75% of the estimated cost of converting a conventional mobile phone into a navigation device for the visually impaired.

This involves purchasing appropriate text-to-speech software, a headset and GPS receiver and a contribution to the developers of the Accessible GPS software developed by Loadstone. The donation also contributes to training, coaching and follow-up tech support.

A further $350 contribution would cover the cost of the required mobile phone for the members who need and cannot afford the required mobile phone.


Tax Receipt

Your donation receives a tax receipt through Phoenix Community Works Foundations sponsorship of our 'Electronic Eye for the Visually Impaired' project.
