The complexities of current mobile phones which intimidate most of the sighted community present an even greater challenge to the blind. Synthetic Imaging Research Inc, in collaboration with the Adaptive Technology Resource Centre (ATRC) is developing the appropriate instruction and coaching techniques to meet the challenge.

Imaging keeps an inventory of its standard equipment as a stand-by for lost or damaged phones, headsets and GPS receivers. The costs of this service will be published September 30 2008.
